Modern, Romantic Wedding at Serra Plaza

Camille and Brian met in the courtyard at Serra Plaza for their first look. A tap on the shoulder signaled Brian to turn around, and when he did, he was met with emotion. Both Camille and Brian held back happy tears and exchanged sweet compliments with one another savoring the sweet moment. Afterwards, they posed for pictures at Mission San Juan Capistrano, then headed back to Serra Plaza for their ceremony.

Candled lined the aisle leading up to floral pillars framing the Spanish fountain. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Brian and Camille read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds made their exit and headed to cocktail hour.

Inside, a black and white lounge was set in front of the fireplace decorated in florals. Tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Caprese Skewers, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds while the bar served up the newlywed’s. signature drinks, a Skinny Spicy Margarita and Old Fashioned. Everyone mixed and mingled, grabbed a digestif of limoncello, checked the seating chart, then headed back outside for reception.

Sparkling chandeliers were aglow above the romantic reception setup. Camille and Brian made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Tequila Lime Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. While guests enjoyed dinner, friends and family stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech ended and shortly after, everyone headed back for the cake cutting. A white cake with cappuccino creme filling was shared by the newlyweds and a Kouign Amann station provided a sweet treat for guests. The evening ended with plenty of dancing and well wishes shared with the bride and groom.
