Jay’s Catering Co. x Hangar 21 Venues are excited to announce our newest project: Hangar 21 SOUTH 02

Construction is currently underway to bring you what Orange County has been missing. Here’s the inspiration for our new space:0304


Hangar 21 South is 8,000 square feet of vintage industrial with 20 foot ceilings, exposed brick, iron beams, and massive floor-to-ceiling rolling doors that bathe the hangar in natural light.

An additional 4,000 square foot outdoor terrace features a modern fireplace, surrounded by lush greenery, and the perfect lighting for entertaining under the stars. 05


Take a Step Inside: 8,000 square feet will bring you two-stories of amenities including 5,000 square feet on the ground floor for seating up to 250, as well as a beautifully curated bridal suite, state-of-the-art AV equipment, pilot’s lounge, conference rooms, and a second story mezzanine overlooking the hangar.

A Breath of Fresh Air: With three walls and no ceiling, the 4,000 square foot terrace will be embraced by living green walls, mature trees, and vintage industrial elements. The blazing fireplace will provide a focal point for ceremonies, and bring warmth and comfort all year around.

But Wait, There’s More: Beyond our indoor and outdoor entertaining options offering views of the Fullerton Airport from any place in the venue, Hangar 21 South’s private tarmac expands OVER 50,000 square feet which can accommodate endless hosting options and capacity.

Hangar 21 FBO: Centrally located to both Orange and Los Angeles Counties, the Fullerton Airport is the ideal location for general aviation commuters. Hangar 21 South will also function as a fixed based operator to include pilot and passenger amenities and services to make the most of traveling experience, including a luxury pilot’s lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi, flight planning, concierge services for hotels, attractions, and rentals car bookings, and so much more.

Sean + Anthony, Hudson Loft

On March 26th of this year, Sean and Anthony said their ‘I do’s’ at Hudson Loft. Their closest family and friends shared this beautiful day with them in Los Angeles! 002003004005006007008 Sean and Anthony planned to hold their wedding in Big Sur, however due to massive flooding they were forced to relocate. They pulled together this beautiful wedding (with a ton of help from Round Town Events) in just 6 weeks!010011012013 Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizes after the ceremony on the rooftop, including our Mini Beef Wellingtons with Béarnaise Sauce and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts.
The reception followed, where guests feasted on our Grilled Panzanella Salad with Heirloom Tomatoes, Pine Nuts, Feta Cheese, Smoky Brioche, & Oregano Vinaigrette, Filet Mignon and Zucchini Lime Chicken.014015016017 For dessert, Sean and Anthony served our All American Dessert Station, plus our Grand Coffee Bar with Fresh Donuts!018019Jenn Emerling did an amazing job capturing every detail of this special day. Lindsay + Darrick, The Estate on Second

Lindsay and Darrick tied the knot in May, and they chose The Estate on Second to hold their celebration! The day was filled with unique touches that reflected the couple’s personalities, like vintage cassette tapes, custom cocktail napkins, and donuts! The bride even filled in for the DJ to spin her own set! 161512107 Lindsay and Darrick picked our Southern Buffet menu. Cocktail hour started with Crab Cakes with Mango Papaya Salsa and a Southern Creamed Corn Dip with Homemade Kettle Chips. For dinner, we served Country Stuffed Chicken, Green Beans with Shallots & Dill, Panko Crusted Asiago, Gorgonzola & Jack Mac & Cheese, and a Southern Chopped Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette. Chelsea + Ray, Engaged

It may be fall, but we are still reminiscing about summer engagement parties. This is one of our all-time favorites, Chelsea and Ray’s Palm Springs themed party, right here in Orange County! 15352 The pros at Intertwined Events put together the design, and we brought the food and drinks! The night started with Shrimp Cocktail Shooters, Mini Hawaiian Pizzas, and Greyhounds (vodka + grapefruit) at the bar to keep cool in the summer heat.1411718For the main course, Chelsea and Ray featured our Poke Station. Guests made their own poke bowl with Ahi, Hamachi, and Teriyaki Chicken with a wide variety of toppings! 111213197209 The night wouldn’t be complete without late night Kalua Pork Sliders, and our Grand Coffee Bar with assorted Ice Cream Novelties for dessert!

Travis + Nicole, The Estate on Second

Nicole and Travis said ‘I Do’ on September 16th, and we were lucky enough to be a part of it! Following a gorgeous ceremony at a local church, the bride and groom celebrated with their friends and family at The Estate on Second. 8356109 The evening started with tray passed hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails (Moscow Mules and Mojitos) and our all-time favorite: a Taco Station with Pollo Asado and Al Pastor! The party continued with a plated dinner of Chicken Florentine, Agave Glazed Salmon, and Colorado Prime Beef with Pepper Corn Au Jus. Last but not least, the guests enjoyed our All-American Dessert station featuring mini Rocky Road Cupcakes, S’more Pops, and Mixed Berry Crostatas. And of course, we can’t forget the cake! Taste of Jay's: Hangar 21

On November 2nd, we hosted our first Taste of Jay’s event at Hangar 21. Over 400 brides, grooms, corporate and wedding professionals joined us for a night of great food, creative cocktails, and Helicopter Rides! 0203201114 The night began with tray passed hors d’oeuvres, a beer and wine bar, and a stunning ceremony set-up by Rogue and Fox Floral Co and Sundrop Vintage. 21 224379 The Tarmac was decked out in beautiful furniture by Classic Party Rentals and unique centerpieces by Portobello Junction. Here we showcased some of our favorite food stations including Gourmet Street Tacos, Flatbread Pizza, S’mores, and a special appearance by our favorite food truck, Mess Hall Canteen! 0661218 The second Hangar was home to more of our classic food stations including Poke, Pasta, Sliders, and a Filet Mignon Carving Station.
