White Wedding Reception at Serra Plaza

Lea and Brian got ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, headed to the Mission Basilica, tied the knot, posed for photos as newlyweds at Mission San Juan Capistrano, then headed back to Serra Plaza to celebrate. Before joining everyone inside the Lounge for cocktail hour, the bride and groom read handwritten, personalized vows to one another while their bridesmaids and groomsmen watched in awe from the sidelines. After, they all headed into the lounge to join the rest of the wedding guests for cocktail hour. Tray passed Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Pineapple Rumaki made their rounds while the bar served up Old Fashioned and Melon Margarita signature drinks. Before heading out to reception, a performance of traditional song and dance was enjoyed by all, then everyone checked the seating chart and headed to the Courtyard.

Tables were topped with white candles and flowers and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Lea and Brian made their grand entrance to an uproar of cheers, shared their first dance, the took a seat at their sweetheart table. Mango Papaya Chicken, Kalua Pork, Pineapple Fried Rice, Whole Pig, Hawaiian Style Potato Macaroni Salad, and Wild Cherry Salad was served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. Once everyone had eaten their fill with dessert, they headed to the dance floor. Guests surrounded Brian and Lea in celebration and the party seemed to never end. The evening finally came to a close inside the Lounge. Well wishes were shared, and hugs were exchanged as guests trickled out one by one.
