White Florals and Greenery Wedding at Serra Plaza

Jenny and Matt shared their first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano then headed over to Serra Plaza for their ceremony. The Courtyard was decorated with white flowers, greenery and candles all lining the aisle and covering the Spanish fountain. Guests began arriving and stopped by the welcome table to sign the bride and groom’s guestbook, then took a seat under the shade of nearby trees. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Jenny. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, Matt and Jenny recited vows, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss as husband and wife. The crowd cheered as the couple excitedly exited the ceremony and headed to cocktail hour.

Inside the Lounge, bartenders were mixing the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Bourbon Peach Tea, and servers were tray passing Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds were off with their photographer posing for photos. Once a few portraits were captured, Matt and Jenny rejoined their guests for the end of cocktail hour. Lively conversations were shared amongst friends, then it was time for reception.

Back in the Courtyard, tables were draped in light grey linens and topped with simple white and green centerpieces and candles. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. A dinner of Tri-Tip Carvery, Chicken Marsala, Penne Alla Checca, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The menu was selected by Matt and Jenny with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Toasts were shared while everyone enjoyed and finished dinner, then the couple went around to each table thanking their guests for coming. After ensuring they chatted with every guest, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered white cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited everyone to indulge in dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and wishing the bride and groom well.
