White and Blue at The Estate
Candice and her bridesmaids in blue got ready inside The Suite at The Estate on Second while Paul waited for his bride in The Attic. With the help of her bridesmaids, Candice slipped into her wedding gown that had beading and lace details on the bodice and a classic crepe fabric on the bottom. With bracelets, earrings, and veil secured, Candice headed upstairs to see Paul for a first look before their ceremony. Paul was dressed in a navy suit with his back to the stairs as his bride approached him. With a tap on the shoulder, he turned around to see Candice and huge smiles filled their faces. The two shared a warm embrace and sweet kiss before heading down to the Crystal Ballroom to line up for their ceremony.
The Crystal Ballroom was filled with guests patiently awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom with their eyes fixed ahead on the center arbor decorated in white flowers and greenery. Lining the aisle were arrangements of even more flowers and greenery creating a classic color palette for Candice and Paul’s wedding. Shortly after everyone had taken a seat, music cued up and the wedding party made their entrance ending with the bride. In front of family and friends, Candice and Paul exchanged traditional vows and said, “I do.” An uproar of cheering filled the Crystal Ballroom as the newlyweds were pronounced husband and wife and shared a kiss.
After the ceremony, Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were enjoyed during cocktail hour. The bar opened serving the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Cranberry Whiskey Sour and Whiskey Tonic. While guests were mixing and mingling inside, the wedding party posed for group photos just outside The Estate. Candice and Paul snuck away for photos together as newlyweds, then met the group back inside for dinner.
Tables were draped in light grey linen and little thank you gifts were perfectly placed atop each plate. The bride and groom made their grand entrance into The Crystal Ballroom and shared their first dance in front of family and friends before taking their seat at the sweetheart table. Toasts were made all around, then dinner was served. A menu of Santorini Chicken, Filet Mignon Carvery, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, Apple Walnut Salad, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, and Mashed Potatoes filled everyones plates. Candice and Paul, with the help from our Event Specialist Brittany, decided on the wedding menu to please everyones particular palates and it did not disappoint. Everyone gave rave reviews of their dinner before hitting the dance floor to show off their moves. The evening came to a sweet end with a dessert table filled with an assortment of pies that were sliced and shared.
