Wedding Neutrals at Grand Gimeno

Danielle and her bridesmaids and Daniel and his groomsmen arrived at Grand Gimeno early in the morning to begin getting ready for the big day. The girls took turns at the beauty bar in the Powder Room and the guys suited up at their leisure in the Parlor. After the beauty team had completed their work, Danielle slipped into her lace appliqué wedding gown with help from her mother, then stepped out for a first look with the girls. Gasps filled the room when the bridesmaids saw Danielle in her wedding dress for the first time and sweet compliments were shared between the group. Meanwhile, across the Foyer, Daniel and his groomsmen knotted their ties, buttoned up their suits, and laced up their shoes. It was time for the bride and groom’s first look! After words of encouragement from both sides, Daniel and Danielle met in the Foyer for the big reveal. With a tap of the shoulder, Daniel turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Hugs and kisses were shared, then the couple read personalized vows to each other before joining their wedding party for pre ceremony photos. The group gathered in the Courtyard, laughed, and posed for the camera, then lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove and found their seats facing two tall floral pillars at the head of the aisle. Two additional floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and rows of bistro chairs made up the ceremony space. Once everyone was accounted for, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Danielle. In front of their loved ones, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony and headed into cocktail hour.

Guests moseyed up the bar and ordered their drinks. A Spicy Margarita and Old Fashioned were Danielle and Daniel’s signature cocktails, and each were paired with a fun fact napkin about the bride and groom for guests to enjoy reading. Polotè and Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta were tray passed as guests mixed and mingled around ivory draped cocktail tables under the shade of nearby olive trees. Meanwhile, the bride and groom ventured around the venue with their photographer for some golden hour romantics. From the Courtyard to the Olive Grove, Danielle and Daniel paraded their love around creating core memories. The two joined their guests at the end of cocktail hour just as the sun had set, enjoyed a few conversations and drinks, then headed inside for dinner.

Our Cambria linens and wishbone chairs completed each table setup inside. White and tan colored flowers mingled with greenery creating each floral centerpiece and tall candlesticks with flickering flames added a romantic ambiance. Guests checked the Topo Chico seating chart display and found their coordinating tables inside. Once everyone had taken a seat, the bride and groom made their grand entrance. An uproar of cheering filled the room as the newlywed’s took a seat at their sweetheart table. Friends and family shared toasts, then our dual entrée plated dinner was served. Lemon and Thyme Chicken and Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano with Fingerling Potatoes and Ensalada Las Mesas filled plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Patti. Danielle and Daniel shared their first dance and their family dances, then everyone hit the dance floor. After a few dances, Danielle and Daniel stopped to cut their red velvet cake and invited their guests to enjoy a slice for dessert. After stopping for something sweet, everyone was quickly back on the dance floor and posing at the photo booth. At the end of the night the bride and groom surprised their guests with Mini Pepperoni and Mini Cheese Pizzas. Everyone grabbed a slice or two on their way out to the Courtyard where the sendoff was happening. Silver streamers were popped open as the newlywed’s exited Grand Gimeno and family and friends cheered as Danielle and Daniel left as husband and wife.
