Warm Toned Wedding at Grand Gimeno

With champagne flowing, Rachel and her bridesmaids and Jason and his groomsmen got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno. Gifts were given and laughs were shared, then the bride and groom met in the Courtyard for their first look. Jason anxiously waited for Rachel, and when he turned to see her, smiles filled both their faces. The two read handwritten vows as their wedding party watched from the sidelines, then everyone headed back to the Olive Grove for group photos. The groomsmen wore black, and the bridesmaids were dressed in silky rust-colored dresses. Together, the group smiled for the camera, then lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Rachel and Jason’s guest book, then took a seat. A fresh floral backdrop in warm reds, oranges, and pinks decorated the ceremony space. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with the bride. In front of all their family and friends, Rachel and Jason recited vows, lit a unity candle, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Moscow Mule and Old Fashioned signature drinks were served for cocktail hour while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed to hungry guests. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head inside for reception.

Tables were topped with tall candlesticks and fresh floral bud vases. Jason and Rachel made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and the first course of Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. Following the salad course, Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered carrot cake with cream cheese filling and invited their guests to indulge in a little dessert themselves. Energized from dinner and dessert, everyone hit the dance floor. Dance-offs, choreographed dances, and freestyle moves were shared. As a late night snack, the couple surprised their guests with Mini Corn Dogs. The evening ended with lots of laughs and many well wishes shared with Jason and Rachel.
