Vintage Boho Backyard Wedding

Michelle and John said, “I do,” at their church then headed to their backyard to continue the celebration! A table complete with party favors, photos, and a guest book welcomed everyone into cocktail hour. Once well wishes were written, guests grabbed a drink at the bar. Many opted for the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Mojito and Old Fashioned, but other drinks were also available. Meanwhile, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, Crab Cakes, and Black Bean and Sweet Potato Empanadas were available to snack on. While guests mixed and mingled, the bridal party posed for group photos. Michelle was in her white, crepe dress and her bridesmaids wore red to match the color scheme. Each of the girls wore a jean jacket and held a bouquet of rust-colored flowers. Once the ladies were done taking group pictures, Michelle, John, and their cute dog posed for the camera. Many memories were made and captured, then it was time for the reception.

Dried floral hoops with scrolled names led guests to their assigned seats. Tables were draped in ivory linen and topped with a mix of modern and vintage tableware in blush and brown. Bud vases filled with flowers were used as décor and table numbers stood out in bright orange. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. Everyone oohed and aahed and watched with love in their eyes as the two swayed side to side. When the song ended, Michelle and John took a seat at their boho-inspired sweetheart table for toasts. Friends and family stood and shared their fondest memories of the couple. Glasses clinked in the air as each speech came to an end, then it was time for dinner. Herb Rubbed Tri Tip, Lemon and Thyme Chicken, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, and Julienne Vegetables filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Brittany, during their planning process. After dinner, Michelle and John cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice. The evening ended with friends and family congratulating the newlyweds and sending off the couple with lots of hugs.
