Toast to Love at The Estate on Second

Brittany and her bridal party added the finishing touches to their wedding attire upstairs at The Estate on Second before Kenny and the groomsmen arrived. Each girl was dressed in a different style black dress, some had lace, and some had sequins. The bride, Brittany, wore a tulle and lace, off-the-shoulder gown with pearl accessories. The group posed together for photos, then the groom arrived for his and Brittany’s first look. Standing in his charcoal suit, Kenny anxiously awaited a tap on the arm from his bride. Brittany didn’t keep him waiting long before she walked over and placed her hand softly on his shoulder. Kenny turned around and immediately a huge smile filled his and Brittany’s face. After a few twirls and sweet words, the bride and groom were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for pre-ceremony photos. The wedding party paraded around inside and outside the venue, and as soon as guests began arriving, the group lined up for the ceremony.

Guests signed Brittany and Kenny’s guestbook before heading inside the Crystal Ballroom where they found a seat. The aisle was lined with greenery and white flowers and a draped arbor stood in front of the center Palladian window decorated in the same green and white color scheme. Once everyone had arrived, live music began playing and the wedding party made their entrances ending the processional with Brittany. In front of family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as everyone cheered.

Cocktail hour was full of delicious food including Crab Cakes, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, and a Slider Station with Kaula Pulled Pork and Chicken Parm Sliders. To wash it all down, the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Margarita and Paloma. Brittany and Kenny mixed and mingled with their guests making sure to thank each of them individually before dinner. As cocktail hour came to an end, guests were invited back into the Crystal Ballroom for reception.

Tables were topped with tall centerpieces of white flowers and greenery was sprinkled between flickering candles. Black napkins were folded to house the evening’s menu and silver flatware was placed on either side. A seating chart led guests to their assigned tables. Kenny and Brittany made their grand entrance as everyone cheered, then they took a seat at their sweetheart table. The first course of Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served around each table as friends and family began sharing toasts. Up next, Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Dauphinoise Potatoes closed out the dinner course. The dual entrée menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey, during their planning process. Once toasts were done, the bride and groom snuck away for an outfit change. Upon their return, they shared their first dance, cut their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in Cookies & Milk Shots and an assortment of cupcakes. On a sugar high, the evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
