The Adventure Begins: A Hangar 21 South Wedding
Rich awaited his bride outside the hangar doors at Hangar 21 South after getting ready with his groomsmen at a nearby hotel. His bride, Pam, turned the corner in a stunning lace wedding gown and approached him for their first look. With a hug from behind and a tap of the shoulder, Rich turned around to see his beautiful wife for the first time that day. Smiles, hugs and kisses were shared between the two before the bridal party met them for photos. Each bridesmaid was dressed in different colors and different styles of dresses, but all within the cool blue and purple family. The groomsmen all matched wearing navy suits and black ties. The group posed for pictures while guests arrived for the ceremony.
The side patio was set up with rows of black chairs leading to a metal arbor center stage. The arbor was draped in white fabric and decorated with greenery and white flowers. Additional mason jars filled with baby’s breath were scattered around the stage. Once everyone was seated, Rich was the first to make an appearance down the aisle. The bridal party walked out one by one ending with Pam. Everyone stood as she gracefully walked to her groom. The bride and groom read handwritten vows to one another in front of family and friends, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife as they shared a kiss. Guests cheered as the newlyweds walked out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour.
Tray passed Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and Beef and Picadillo Empanadas made their rounds while guests grabbed drinks from the bar including the bride and groom’s signature cocktails; an Irish Mule and Paloma. While guests were sipping and snacking on the tarmac, Pam and Rich enjoyed their helicopter flight over Orange County and tables inside the hangar were being set for dinner. Fresh greenery and white flowers ran down the center of each table and folded navy napkins marked each place setting. The ceremony arbor was repurposed at the sweetheart table and candles added a romantic atmosphere. A luggage tag seating chart helped guests find their seats as Pam and Rich returned from their flight. The two made their grand entrance into the hangar with cheers from the crowd and shared their first dance before taking their seats. Toasts were made in honor of the newlyweds before each table was excused for dinner. A pre-selected menu was created by Pam and Rich along with our Event Specialist, Patti. They decided on Small Plate Stations including our Mac and Cheese Station, Street Taco Station and Melt Bar. Everyone had a fun experience selecting their food of choice at each station and an even better time eating the food. Rave reviews were shared all around. The bride and groom thanked everyone for coming to celebrate their special day and invited guests to indulge in donuts for dessert then join them on the dancefloor for the remainder of the evening.
