Terracotta and Blush Wedding at Grand Gimeno

After getting ready in the suites at Grand Gimeno, Alexis and Kevin met outside in the Courtyard for their first look. A tap on the shoulder signaled Kevin to turn around. Smiles immediately filled both the bride and groom’s faces as soon as they saw each other. Sweet compliments were shared, and photos were snapped, then the couple headed back inside for their tea ceremony in the Foyer where traditions were celebrated.

Fun with friends and family continued in the Olive Grove where blush, white, and terracotta flowers decorated the wedding ceremony space. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Alexis and Kevin read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

From their ceremony seats and straight to the pizza oven, guests lined up to get a slice of our Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Meat Lovers Pizza for cocktail hour.  Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed table by table and the bar was serving the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Whiskey Sour. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time to head inside for reception.

Inside, tables were topped with flickering candles and fresh floral centerpieces. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table where the first course of Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. Guests shared toasts, and the main meal of Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs, Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, Roasted Broccolini, and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The dinner menu was selected by Kevin and Alexis with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut into their 2-tiered white wedding cake with raspberry creme filling and invited all their guests to indulge in our Classic dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with plenty of dancing and keepsake photos captured in the photo booth.
