Tea Ceremony, Outfit Changes, and a Pop of Pink Wedding at Serra Plaza

Ginger and Eric met inside Mission San Juan Capistrano for their first look reveal. On the count of three, Eric turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles immediately filled their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged. During the intimate moment, the couple shared handwritten vows, and afterwards, they were joined by their groomsmen and bridesmaids for group pictures. The groomsmen wore black and the bridesmaids were dressed in pink. The group wandered around the mission smiling for the camera, then headed over to Serra Plaza.

Ginger changed into her tea ceremony outfit and headed to the lounge with Eric where their families awaited them. The bridesmaids and groomsmen stood by while the couple exchanged gifts and well wishes with their families. Hugs and tears were shared, then everyone lined up for the courtyard ceremony.

Light pink, peach, and white flowers decorated the Spanish fountain and lined both sides of the aisle where guests found their seats. Once everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Ginger and Eric recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Guests cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Flowers decorated the indoor fireplace and a neutral lounge provided guests with a comfortable place to sit back. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, and Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas were tray passed around the room while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, an Italian Margarita and Coconut Mai Tai. Guests mixed and mingled, and Ginger changed into another outfit just in time for reception.

Tables were topped with floral centerpieces and pink details. Guests found their seats and cheered as the bride and groom made their grand entrance. Eric and Ginger shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table for dinner and toasts. Ensalada Las Mesas was served first followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Heirloom Carrots and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. Family and friends stood and shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air. After dinner, the newlywed’s cut into their red velvet wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of raspberry chocolate decadence cakes, fresh fruit tarts, vanilla bean chocolate eclairs, mango and passion fruit macarons, and French apple tarts. Before Ginger hit the dance floor, she had one more outfit change!  The bride came out in sparkling pants and a feathered top to get the party started. The evening ended with everyone celebrating and dancing, and finally sending off the bride and groom.
