Sweet Sorbet Wedding at The Rose Center

After changing into her lace wedding dress at the Rose Center, Tammy headed upstairs for her first look with Andrew. With each step closer, emotion was building for this special moment between bride and groom. Finally, with a hug from behind, Andrew turned around to see his stunning bride, Tammy, standing before him. A contagious smile filled his face as he showered Tammy in compliments. The two soaked in every moment together before joining their wedding party just outside for group photos. Each bridesmaid wore a different style mint green dress and the groomsmen wore black. Bouquets of pink, orange, and peach flowers were held by the girls and matching boutonnieres were worn by the men. From grassy areas to sidewalks, the group posed together to create memories that will last a lifetime, then they headed back inside to line up for the ceremony.

A welcome table complete with guest book, a keepsake heart collection where guests signed their names, photos of the couple, and paper fans with the wedding outline printed on the back was set in the shade of the courtyard. As guests arrived they made sure to stop by the welcome table before taking a seat. A tall wooden arbor stood center stage that was draped in ivory fabric and decorated with fresh flowers. This area marked where Tammy and Andrew would soon be standing for their vows. As soon as everyone had arrived and taken a seat, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Tammy. In front of family and friends, Andrew and Tammy read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered.

As quickly but carefully as they could, the bride and groom snuck away to the bridal suite to sign their marriage license, then headed back to join their guests for cocktail hour. An hors d’oeuvres station with an assortment of Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks, and Thai Shrimp Spring Rolls was on display for everyone to enjoy while sipping on refreshing beverages. At the bar, bartenders were mixing up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Hawaiian Mule and Paloma. Guests mixed and mingled amongst themselves and with Tammy and Andrew before it was time for the reception.

Back outside in the courtyard, tables were draped in ivory linens and lanterns covered in flowers acted as centerpieces. White plates sat atop gold chargers and flickering tea lights were lit. Guests found their assigned tables and grand entrances were made that drew laughs from the crowd. Tammy and Andrew shared their first dance in front of their sweetheart table, then took a seat for toasts. Speeches were shared that had the bride and groom laughing and crying and beverages clinked in the air. After, a few games were played to excite and include the guests. Each game provided great entertainment, then dinner was served. Tammy and Andrew’s wedding menu consisted of Santorini Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear & Walnut Salad. The selection was chosen by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle, during their planning process. Once guests finished their dinner, they were invited to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passionfruit Macarons and French Apple Tarts. Tammy and Andrew made their table rounds talking to each guests and toasting to their marriage before ending the night in a sparkler send off.
