Summer Pink Serra Plaza Wedding

Bernadette and her bridesmaids got ready inside the Bridal Suite at Serra Plaza while Trevor and his groomsmen suited up in their suite at the Inn at The Mission down the street. Once both groups were ready, they met inside Mission San Juan Capistrano for the bride and groom’s first look and wedding party group photos. A tap on the shoulder turned Trevor around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. The couple exchanged sweet compliments then wandered around the Mission with their wedding party posing for pictures before heading back to Serra Plaza.

Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book before heading into the courtyard and taking a seat. Pink floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain ahead. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Bernadette. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, Bernadette and Trevor recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Lemon Drop Martinis and Old Fashioned signature drinks were flowing inside the Lounge while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Caprese Skewers were tray passed for cocktail hour. The newlyweds mixed and mingled with their guests and posed for photos together, then everyone headed back to the Courtyard for reception.

Pops of pink, gold and black decorated the reception space and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Trevor and Bernadette made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Pear and Walnut Salad was served while guests stood to share toasts. Classic Filet Mignon and Zucchini Lime Chicken with Roasted Broccolini and Smashed Baby Potatoes followed. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with many group photos taken at the photo booth and plenty of dancing.
