Springtime Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Amy and her bridesmaids got hair and makeup ready inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno while Davis and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor. The girls changed from matching pajamas to rose and champagne colored bridesmaid dresses and awaited Amy’s reveal. The door opened, gasps filled the room, and Amy stepped out in a classic white wedding dress. The girls showered the bride with compliments, then Amy headed to the Courtyard for her first look with Davis. The wedding party watched as Amy walked out the blue French doors and over to Davis. A tap of the shoulder turned him around and smiles filled their faces. The couple exchanged sweet compliments and were soon joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos. Together, the group smiled for the camera and cracked open a few cold ones, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove, signed Davis and Amy’s guest book, and took a seat. Fresh flowers decorated the ceremony space where the bride and groom would soon be standing and matching floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle. As soon as everyone was in attendance, live music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle ending with Amy. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, Davis and Amy recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed around the Olive Grove during cocktail hour while guests lined up for the bar. Signature G&T and Classic Margarita drinks were being poured along with wine, beer, and light refreshment as guests mixed and mingled. The bride and groom snuck away for a few photos as husband and wife and joined their guests at the end of cocktail hour for a drink. As soon as the sun set, everyone was invited inside for reception.

Tables were topped with candles, spring floral centerpieces, and name cards. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat. Amy and Davis made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Tri-Tip Carvery, Chicken Santorini, Penne Alla Checca, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our event specialist, Brittany. While everyone enjoyed dinner, friends and family stood to share toasts. After the last speech, glasses clinked in the air and the newlyweds invited their guests to enjoy some Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.  The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor waving around light sticks while dancing with the bride and groom.
