Spring Wedding at The East Angel

An ethereal, lace wedding gown hung from the industrial windows of East Angel catching the light in just the right places while Claudia admired each dainty detail. With her hair and makeup complete, Claudia stepped into her beautiful dress, slipped on her heels, and joined her bridesmaids for their final moments together before the ceremony. Each bridesmaid wore a different style maxi dress but kept cohesion in light pink shades. While the girls were making sure the finishing touches were perfect, James and his groomsmen were enjoying a cold beverage in the lounge. James wore a light grey suit with light pink bow tie and his groomsmen matched in grey suits with light pink ties and pocket squares. Before long, it was time for James to head outside for his first look with Claudia.

Smiles filled both James and Claudia’s faces when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. Sweet compliments were exchanged and laughs were shared as the two wandered around the venue grounds taking pre-ceremony photos together. Guests arrived just as the bride and groom snuck back to line up with their bridal party, hidden away from the crowd. The outdoor courtyard was lined with white folding chairs and pastel pink, peach and white floral arrangements. A circular arch was decorated in matching spring flowers and lush greenery as the back drop for Claudia and James. A hush came over the crowd as the wedding music cued up and the bridal party made their way down the aisle ending with Claudia arm in arm with both of her parents. James and Claudia exchanged personalized, handwritten vows in front of friends and family and ended their ceremony with a sweet kiss before heading in to cocktail hour.

Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with béarnaise sauce and Crab Cakes with mango papaya salsa were served to hungry guests as they sipped on refreshments before taking a seat for dinner. Tables draped in white linens decorated the main floor and Sputnik chandeliers sparkled above. Each table was topped with spring-inspired floral centerpieces and peach colored napkins. The sweetheart table was draped in blush velvet and tons of flowers decorated the surrounding area. The newlyweds came back from their sunset escapade to find everyone seated and awaiting their arrival. James and Claudia shared their first dance before taking their seat at the sweetheart table just in time for dinner. Caesar Salad, Tri-Tip Carvery, Chicken Rigatoni, Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Vegetable Medley were on the dinner menu. The bride and groom along with our Event Specialist, Rachel, hand-selected the dinner options during their planning process, and guests ate every last bite. Guests especially loved the Tri-Tip Carvery. Nothing goes better after eating something savory than eating something sweet! The bride and groom cut into their cake and invited guests to indulge in the decadent dessert station with an assortment of sweet treats. After eating their fill, everyone lined up outside and sent the newlyweds off in a sparkler exit.
