Spring Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Emily zipped up the back of her lace wedding gown in the Powder Room and finished accessorizing while Stanley suited up in the Foyer. When the two of them were ready, they headed out to the Olive Grove for their first look by the fireplace. With a pink and orange lounge as their backdrop, Emily walked to Stanley and brushed his back. Smiles filled both their faces as soon as the groom turned around and sweet compliments were exchanged as their wedding party watched from the sidelines. The bride and groom posed for photos together and with their cute pups, then headed back inside to line up for ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove, signed Emily and Stanley’s guest book, then took a seat. Arrangements of pink, orange, white, and green flowers lined both sides of the aisle and without further ado, the wedding party made their entrances. Emily smiled from ear to ear as she glided across the aisle towards Stanley. Once together, the couple read their personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Family and friends stood and cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony and headed into cocktail hour.

Everyone gathered in the Olive Grove for cocktail hour where Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms were tray passed and warm conversations were shared. The bar was serving up beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Lemon Drop and Topo Chico. Guests gathered around cocktail tables and cozied up to the outdoor fireplace where modern furnishings provided a relaxing place to sit back. The bride and groom mixed and mingled with their guests, then everyone headed inside for dinner.

Tables were draped in ivory linen and topped with tea candles and spring-colored centerpieces. The ceremony aisle arrangements were repurposed at the sweetheart table and dessert table where a custom cake decorated with Emily and Stanley’s dogs as cake toppers stood. Once everyone found their assigned tables, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. Afterwards, the couple thanked everyone for joining them and invited guests to enjoy dinner. Tables were excused one by one to fill their plates with Chicken Pignoli, Tortellini Corsica, Roasted Italian Zucchini, and Italian Green Beans with Pancetta. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Patti. While guests ate, family and friends shared toasts. Glasses filled with champagne clinked in the air as each speech ended, then Emily and Stanley cut into their wedding cake. For their guests, our Italian Dessert Station was unveiled revealing a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli with Lemon Ricotta Filling, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. Once the sugar rush kicked in, everyone hit the dance floor. To surprise their guests and send them home fully satisfied, Emily and Stanley served a late night snack of Neapolitan and Sweet and Salty Pancetta Pizzas before everyone headed home. The evening ended with many well wishes, photo booth memories, and a tasty take home treat.
