Something Blue Serra Plaza Wedding
After getting ready with her girls, Sarah headed over to Mission San Juan Capistrano for her first look with Dalton. The two met in front of the Ruins of the Great Stone Church and with a tap on the shoulder, Dalton turned around to see his stunning bride dressed in a lace and tulle wedding gown. Sweet smiles filled their faces as they paraded around the Mission grounds; Sarah holding her gorgeous floral bouquet filled with peach and pink flowers, and Dalton never loosing sight of his bride.
The bride and groom were greeted by their bridal party when they arrived at Serra Plaza. The bridesmaids wore light blue dresses that matched the ties of the groomsmen who were dressed in navy suits. Group photos were captured before the group hid away as guests began to arrive in the Grand Plaza Courtyard. Greenery and fresh flowers poured over the Spanish fountain backdrop and decorated the head and back of the aisle where Sarah and Dalton would make their entrance. Once everyone was seated, music cued up and Dalton was first to make his way down the aisle. Last but not least, Sarah walked gracefully over to Dalton with her veil trailing behind her, grinning from ear to ear. The bride and groom exchanged vows and sealed the deal with a kiss as everyone cheered them on. Cheers continued as the newlyweds made their grand exit out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour.
Tray passed Bruschetta al Pomodoro and Ellie’s Parmesan Meatball Lollipops were enjoyed by hungry guests while others went straight to the bar for a refreshing beverage. The bartenders were shaking up Sarah and Dalton’s signature cocktails, a Vodka and 7-Up and Paloma while also pouring beer and wine. As the sun set on cocktail hour, tables were set for dinner. Light grey linens were complimented by the white flowers that topped them and flickering candlelight added to the already romantic ambiance. Sarah and Dalton shared their first dance under sparkling chandeliers as guests oohed and aahed at their love. Toasts were made once the newlyweds took their seats at the sweetheart table, then dinner was served. A meal of Chicken Piccata, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Caesar Salad, Sliced Tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella, and Grilled Marinated Vegetables was selected by our Event Specialist, Patti, along with the bride and groom during the wedding planning process. Guests raved over the food giving it 5-stars before hitting the dance floor. A quick cake cutting intermission for a sweet treat, then back to dancing the night away before sending the newlyweds off.
