Smoky Hollow Studios Wedding

The boys in blue gathered outside Smoky Hollow Studios to pose for group photos while the girls were inside getting the bride excited for her big reveal. The bride, Crystal, was dressed in a stunning a-line wedding gown with lace bodice, and each of her bridesmaids wore different colored dresses that all complemented one another. The groomsmen wore matching maroon ties, brown shoes and blue suits. Rey, the groom, wore a lighter blue suit to stand out from the group. Together, the group lined up and awaited their grand entrance into the ceremony.

Inside Smoky Hollow Studios, a beautifully draped arbor stood tall as Crystal and Rey’s ceremony backdrop. Rust and blush colored flowers decorated the left corner of the ceremony backdrop and candles wrapped in greenery lined the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their entrances and stood in front of family and friends as they exchanged handwritten vows and rings. Their officiant pronounced them husband and wife, then the two cheerfully exited the ceremony space to take a few photos together before heading to cocktail hour.

Outside, our hors d’oeuvre Fusion Station was serving up California Rolls, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls and Beef Empanadas to hungry guests. A beverage bus had a selection of drinks on tap and guests mixed and mingled enjoying sharing stories about the newlyweds. Crystal and Rey soon joined their friends and family outside for cocktail hour just before heading back inside for dinner. Back inside, rustic tables mixed with industrial chairs for the reception. Greenery and candles topped each table and every plate had a dinner menu placed atop of it so guests would know what they could expect for their next meal. As soon as everyone found their seats, the bride and groom entered into their first dance, then thanked everyone for joining them on their special day. While toasts were shared with the room, dinner was made available. A selection of Espresso Crusted Tri Tip, Paella, Vietnamese Braised Short Rib with Asian Cucumber and Bar Bar Stations were visited by each table. Our Event Specialist, Rachel, along with Crystal and Rey, pre-selected the menu during the planning process for the wedding based on the couple’s tastes and thoughts of what their guests would enjoy. The menu was an absolute hit and some people even went for seconds. After dinner, the newlyweds surprised their guests with a fun donut display for dessert before ending the evening.
