Simply Stated Estate Wedding
Toni and her bridesmaids finished getting ready in The Suite downstairs while Steven and his groomsmen suited up in The Attic. Each bridesmaid wore a light grey dress in different styles and the groomsmen wore black suits. The color palette was classic to match The Estate’s charming decor. Once everyone was ready, Toni headed up to meet Steven for their first look while their bridal party watched excitedly. Steven faced away from the staircase as Toni approached him from behind. With a tap on the shoulder, Steven turned around to see his beautiful bride. Sweet smiles filled both of their faces as the two admired each others wedding day looks. Their friends joined them for group photos before heading down to the Crystal Ballroom for the ceremony.
The Crystal Ballroom was decorated in a simply stated elegance with large urn vases on either side of the center Palladian window that were filled with foliage and white flowers. Guests arrived, signed Toni and Steven’s guest book, and took a seat awaiting the bride and groom. Before long, Steven made his way down the aisle to start the ceremony. Everyone stood as Toni made her entrance last in a lace dress with trailing veil. At the head of the aisle, she was given over to her groom and the officiant began his speech about love and marriage. The bride and groom read handwritten vows to one another and exchanged rings, then the two were pronounced husband and wife. A newlywed kiss was shared in front of family and friends and cheers were heard all around as Toni and Steven exited the Crystal Ballroom.
Competitive games of corn hole and good conversations were had during cocktail hour. Tray passed Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls and Seared Ahi Wonton Chips kept guests full and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails, a Blue Hawaiian and Paloma, were a popular pick at the bar. The newlyweds snuck away for some quick photos together as husband and wife, then joined the rest of the party back inside for the remainder of cocktail hour. While making their rounds, Toni and Steven made sure to thank all their guests before heading into the reception.
Back inside the Crystal Ballroom, tables were draped in white linen and grey napkins marked each place setting. Candles and greenery made their way down each table as centerpieces and the sweetheart table was full of white flowers. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned seats. The bride and groom made their grand entrance once everyone was seated. Their first dance was shared in the center of the ballroom under sparkling chandeliers as guests watched in awe. Toasts were made before dinner that had the bride and groom laughing and crying tears of joy. Glasses clinked in the air and bubbly was enjoyed, then dinner was served. Kalua Pork, Sliced Beef Brisket, Coconut Lime Rice, Stir Fry Vegetables and Hawaiian Style Potato Macaroni Salad made up the menu that was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey. Each table was dismissed to fill their plate and some guests even got up for seconds - We don’t blame them. After dinner, the bride and groom cut their 3-tier marble, lemon and white wedding cake and served it to their guests. Once all the traditional wedding festivities had concluded, everyone hit the dance floor to show off their moves. For those who didn’t want to dance, fun props awaited them at the photo booth where they could take home memories from the night.
