Simplistic Ikebana Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Riley and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne while adding the finishing touches to their wedding day looks inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno. With hair and makeup complete, and accessories fastened, Riley headed out to the Foyer for her first look with Don. A tap of the shoulder turned him around to see his beautiful bride. Smiles filled both their faces and the wedding party cheered from the sidelines. A few couple portraits were taken, then the bride and groom were joined by their groomsmen and bridesmaids for pre-ceremony pictures. As soon as guests began arriving, the group lined up inside.

Guests entered the Olive Grove and found a seat on either side of the aisle. Simplistic ceremony décor was complete with fresh florals and moss arrangements that looked to be growing out of the ground. Once everyone arrived, the wedding party made their entrances. Riley and Don were joined together at the head of the aisle where they read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss in front of friends and family.

Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Meat Lovers Pizzas were being pulled fresh from the oven while Filet and Wild Mushrooms, Crab Cakes, and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed. Meanwhile, the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Hawaiian Mule and Melon Margarita. The bride and groom enjoyed cocktail hour with their guests mixing and mingling amongst the olive trees, then it was time for reception.

Guests checked the seating chart and headed inside to ikebana and bud vase floral arrangements decorating tabletops. Once everyone was seated, Riley and Don thanked their guests for coming and dinner was served. First, Pear and Walnut Salad, then, Lemon and Thyme Glazed Chicken Breast and Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano with Fingerling Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist Brittany. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their chocolate cake and invited guests to enjoy our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor where guests showed off their best moves and shared their well wishes with Don and Riley.
