Rustic Estate on Second Wedding
Emily and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne and got ready upstairs inside the bridal suite at The Estate on Second while Miles and his groomsmen suited up downstairs. Both groups posed for photos separately to ensure the bride and groom didn’t see each other before their walk down the aisle. The guys were dressed in navy and the girls wore different fall colors, other than Emily of course. As soon as guests began arriving, the wedding party lined up for ceremony.
Pink, white and light blue flowers mixed with greenery decorated the center Palladian window inside the Crystal Ballroom and matching arrangements marked the back of the aisle. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat inside. As soon as everyone was in attendance, Miles led the processional. Everyone was all smiles and stood when Emily made her entrance. In front of all their family and friends, Miles and Emily read vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Old Fashioned and Paloma signature cocktails were being poured at the bar while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed. A Stationary European and Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray became a favorite spot for guests and two outdoor lounge spaces provided stylish seating. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for a few portraits, then joined their party for the end of cocktail hour. Group selfies were taken, and hugs were shared, and everyone was invited back into the Crystal Ballroom for reception.
Tables were topped with candles and fresh floral centerpieces, and custom printed menus were placed atop each place setting. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Santorini Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our event specialist, Casey. Everyone ate and listened to friends and family share toasts. Afterwards, Emily and Miles cut into their white cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with lots of picture taking at the photo booth and dancing out on the dance floor.
