Romantic Serra Plaza Wedding

The bridal party was ready to go in black tie attire at Serra Plaza where Sam and Cam’s wedding would shortly take place. Sam, the bridesmaids, and groomsmen gathered for a memorable first look. Everyone was in on the plan except for the groom of course. One of Cam’s groomsmen dressed up in a wedding dress and would walk out before the bride to play a prank during their first look. With a tap on the shoulder, Cam turned around to see his groomsmen in a dress and an uproar of laughter filled the air breaking the anxious tension to see his bride. Second time was the charm. Cam turned around to see his stunning bride in her beautiful wedding gown and he swept her off her feet for a sweet kiss.

Guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and live music while they signed the guest book and found their seats. The sun had set and romantic chandeliers and market lights created a magical atmosphere for Cam and Sam’s wedding ceremony. Cam made his way down the aisle with applause from the crowd, then everyone stood for Sam. At the head of the aisle with Serra Plaza’s Grand Plaza Courtyard Spanish fountain as their backdrop, the bride and groom exchanged vows. The two sealed the deal with a kiss, then paraded out into cocktail hour.

Everyone enjoyed a Mediterranean Tray with Caprese Skewers, Prosciutto de Parma, Mozzarella Cheese, Assorted Olives, Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Vegetables, Pita Triangles, and Hummus Dip. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with Bearnaise Sauce and Black Bean and Sweet Potato Empanadas with Avocado Crema were tray passed. An open bar was pouring beverages and the newlyweds signature cocktails: A Skinny Margarita and Greyhound. Music continued into the reception portion of the evening as guests found their seats for dinner and toasts. Our Event Specialist, Brittany, along with the bride and groom, pre-selected a fun and delicious dinner menu for everyone to enjoy. A Slider Station with Tri-Tip and Kalua Pulled Pork, Enchilada Station, and French Fry Station were frequented by everyone at the wedding. For dessert, an Ice Cream Sundae Station with an assortment of tasty toppings satisfied those with a sweet tooth. The remainder of the evening was spent dancing out on the dancefloor and posing for photos at the photo booth.
