Romantic I Do’s at Forme Los Angeles

After getting ready in the Sunburst and Sidecar suites, Veronica and her bridesmaids and Arenet and his groomsmen wandered around the many backdrops at Forme and posed for group pictures separately as to not ruin the bride and groom’s first look down the aisle. The bridesmaids each wore a different style of dress but kept the navy color cohesive, and the groomsmen were suited up in maroon, black and white. The maid of honor and best man both had their own special outfits to set them apart from the group. Veronica stunned in a beautiful lace wedding gown and matching veil to contract her groom’s back tux. The two groups paraded around the venue and just before the first guest arrived, they hid back in their suites to remain hidden until the ceremony.

A card box and guest book surrounded by pictures of Veronica and Arenet topped the welcome table where guests would leave their written well wishes. Inside, ghost chairs were lined up in rows all facing the geometric statement wall. A copper ceremony arch decorated in greenery and fresh flowers stood at the head of the aisle and an unplugged ceremony sign was put out to ensure no phones were used during the ceremony. As soon as everyone took a seat, the groom made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and Veronica. The bride and groom shared handwritten vows in front of their closest family and friends. Tears were shed and laughs were contagious. Rings were exchanged, then the two were pronounced husband and wife. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds kissed and exited into cocktail hour.

The sun was setting in the courtyard at Forme while Crab Cakes and Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks were being tray passed. Drinks from the bar including the couple’s signature cocktails, a Pineapple Margarita and Old Fashioned, were being shaken and stirred for guests to enjoy. Meanwhile, Veronica and Arenet snuch away for some golden hour photos as husband and wife. The two returned just as the sun had set and got ready for their grand entrance into the reception.

Everyone found their seat inside the courtyard thanks to a gold framed seating chart. Tables were topped with candles, white flower petals and ivory linens with champagne flutes filled and ready for toasts. Guests cheered as the newlyweds made their grand entrance and swayed to their first dance song, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. Toasts were made and laughter was abundant as friends and family shared stories of the bride and groom. Glasses clinked in the air and dinner was served. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Macaroni & Cheese, Cheesy Potatoes, and Southern Chopped Salad filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle, during their planning process. The delicious dinner left some guests hopping back in line for seconds! Once everyone had eaten their fill, the bride and groom invited their guests to indulge in our Homemade Donut Station for dessert. An assortment of donuts were on display for those with a sweet tooth. The evening ended with everyone surrounding the bride and groom out on the dance floor where guests showed off their best dance moves before saying goodbye to the newlyweds.
