Red and Pink Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Will and Tina shared a tearful first look on Hangar 21 South’s stage after getting ready at the venue with their friends. Sweet compliments were exchanged then the couple lined up with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for the ceremony as guests began arriving. The rainy day moved the ceremony inside where red lanterns hung from the ceiling and matching red and pink floral pillars marked the head of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Tina. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the bride and groom read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Crab Cakes, Sesame Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips made their rounds on the tarmac and the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Adios and Whiskey Sour. While guests mixed and mingled, the bride and groom took flight over Orange County, and upon their landing, it was time for reception.

Back inside the hangar, tables were topped with red and pink candles and flowers and modern table numbers guided guests to their seats. Will and Tina made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Huli Huli Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Pineapple Fried Rice, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, and Papaya Salad was served while guests shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Kristy. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their personal wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu-Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with Tina and Will.
