Punk Rock Wedding Celebration at Hangar 21 South

After being together for over 10 years, Christine and Craig decided to have a wedding celebration at Hangar 21 South with friends and family in honor of their love story. The girls got ready in the bridal suite upstairs while the guys hung out in the mezzanine awaiting the ceremony. After hair and make up, the bridesmaids changed from their black silk robes and into black dresses with matching vans sneakers. The bride, Christine, of course stood out in an edgy all white wedding gown and studded heels. The guys wore all black with red bow ties and matching oxford shoes, and the groom, Craig, wore an added black blazer and red vest. Both parties made sure the bride and groom didn’t see each other before the ceremony so there would be a big reveal down the aisle.

Outside on the side patio, guests arrived and took a seat. A wooden arbor decorated in deep red and light pink flowers stood center stage as the ceremony backdrop and music cued up for the wedding party entrances. Everyone stood in excitement as Christine walked over to her groom. Vows and memories were shared and a sweet kiss sealed the deal. The crowd cheered as Christine and Craig went from the ceremony to the tarmac for their cocktail hour helicopter flight.

The remainder of the evening was filled with lots of dancing and sharing memories of the happy couple. Everyone snacked on light bites including a fresh Fruit Tray and Charcuterie Tray with salami, prosciutto, mortadella, European cheeses, olives, mixed nuts, dried apricots, fig jam, sliced baguettes and crackers that our Event Specialist, Casey, suggested to the bride and groom during the planning process. A live band played heavy metal and everyone including the kids took part in the mosh pit throwing elbows and having fun. The guests worked up an appetite from all the dancing and indulged in our Sweet Treat Tray with an assortment of Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Dark Chocolate Ganache Brownies, Butterscotch Blondies, and Oreo Cheesecake Squares before saying their goodbyes and sending Christine and Craig off with best wishes.
