Pops of Purple Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Denny and Tinny stepped out into the Grand Gimeno breezeway for their first look on the morning of their wedding. A tap on the shoulder turned Denny around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Sweet compliments were exchanged, and private vows were read, then the couple headed into the Foyer for a traditional tea ceremony with family before lining up for their wedding ceremony in the Olive Grove.

Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then found a seat. Green and purple floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and decorated pillars ahead under olive trees. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Tinny. In front of all their closest friends and family, the couple recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Sticky Pork Belly Bites and Crab Cakes were tray passed and as guests lined up at the Sushi Platter station for an assortment of rolls and at the pizza oven for Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Sweet and Salty Pancetta Pizzas. After grabbing a bite, guests headed to the bar for beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Hawaiian Mule. After plenty of mixing and mingling everyone checked the seating chart and went inside for the reception.

Tables were topped with flickering candles, purple flowers, and custom printed menus. Tinny and Denny made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Friends and family shared toasts and Chicken Marsala, Tri-Tip Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered carrot cake wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in something sweet for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
