Pops of Pastel Wedding at Grand Gimeno

From matching pajamas to dresses, Liz and her bridesmaids spent the morning inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno getting ready for the big day. With her veil secured, Liz stepped out in her off-the-shoulder bridal gown and excitement filled the room. Her bridesmaids showered her with compliments and some tears were even shed. Meanwhile, Matt and his groomsmen arrived already suited up and ready for the day posing for photos in the Foyer. Once both parties were ready, Liz and Matt shared their first look as the wedding party watched from the sidelines. A tap of the shoulder turned Matt around and happy tears made the moment even more precious. After the sweet exchange, the bride and groom joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group pictures before the ceremony.

Guests arrived, signed Matt and Liz’s guest book, then took a seat inside. Floral arrangements of white, blue, and pink decorated the aisle and matched the ceremony pillars. Once everyone was in attendance, the processional began. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read vows, broke bread, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. The wedding party lined up and created a tunnel for the newlywed’s exit and the crowd cheered.

Cocktail hour in the Olive Grove consisted of tray passed Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites. Guests mixed and mingled while the bride and groom were wandering around the venue posing for photos as husband and wife with their photographer. Just as golden hour peeked into the reception space, everyone found their seats for dinner and toasts.

Roses and candles decorated tables and custom menus were printed for each guest. Once everyone was seated, Liz and Matt made their grand entrance and shared their first dance, then dinner was served. Sweet and Sticky Korean Chicken, Korean Bulgogi Beef, Pineapple Fried Rice, Far East Wok Long Beans, and Flat Noodles with Black Bean Sauce was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren, during their planning process. While guests enjoyed dinner, friends and family stood to share toasts. After dinner, the bride and groom invited their guests to indulge in our Kouign Amann desserts while they made their rounds thanking everyone for coming. The evening ended out on the dance floor where guests showed off their best moves and left their well wishes with the newlyweds.
