Plum and Pink Wedding at The Estate on Second
Silvia and her bridesmaids posed for photos in The Attic at The Estate on Second holding beautiful bouquets of plum, pink and white flowers. Silvia wore a lace and crepe gown with matching pearl veil and contrasted her bridesmaids who were in black dresses. Meanwhile, Fernando and his groomsmen were suited up outside of The Estate also posing for group photos and greeting guests as they arrived.
Inside the Crystal Ballroom, chairs were filling with family and friends and a large floral install filled the center Palladian window at the head of the aisle. The wedding party lined up behind closed curtains, then music began playing as the group made their entrances ending with the bride. Happy, emotional tears were hard to hold back when Fernando and Silvia saw each other for the first time that day down the aisle. The two recited vows, exchanged rings, and shared a sweet kiss to conclude their ceremony.
The bride and groom’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Moscow Mule, were the number one pick at the bar during cocktail hour. Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed as everyone mixed and mingled sharing stories about the bride and groom. While everyone was enjoying light hors d’oeuvres, the newlyweds wandered around outside of the venue with their dog for golden hour pictures.
Back inside the Crystal Ballroom, tables were draped in white linens and tea candles added a romantic ambiance to the space. Silvia and Fernando’s sweetheart table was decorated in tons of flowers and champagne glasses awaited their arrival. Guests found their seats and cheered as the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance. A champagne toast was shared and glasses clinked signifying the start of dinner. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Heirloom Carrots and Caesar Salad filled everyone’s plates. The Classic Menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel, to ensure their guests would enjoy the meal options. After dinner, a white cake with classic buttercream icing was cut and served as dessert. Energized from dinner and dessert, everyone hit the dance floor. Guests danced around the newlyweds and had a blast showing off their best moves before the evening came to an end.
