Pink and Black Fall Wedding at Hangar 21 South
From white robe with lace detailing, to white lace wedding gown, Angelica was dressed to impress on her wedding day. The girls got ready upstairs inside the Hangar 21 South bridal suite while the groom and his groomsmen suited up downstairs. Each bridesmaid wore the same shade of pink but in various styles to compliment the wedding’s color palette. The groomsmen wore light grey suits, black ties and black shoes with fragrant rose boutonnieres matching the color of the bridesmaid dresses and bouquets. Blush silk ribbon was carefully wrapped around each bridesmaid’s beautiful floral bouquets that were composed of greenery and white, peach, mauve, and pink roses. The bride had an even more stunning bouquet with added white orchids cascading down the front to compliment her dress.
Guests arrived to a decorated courtyard and found their seat on either side of the aisle. A black arbor with bursts of colorful floral arrangements was placed center stage as Angelica and Michael’s ceremony backdrop and even more flowers lined the aisle. Music began playing and the bridal party made their entrance ending with Angelica. Michael and Angelica exchanged vows and with a sweet kiss, were pronounced husband and wife. A swift cocktail hour followed and guests enjoyed drinks from the bar including the newlyweds signature cocktails: A Hawaiian Mule and Melon Margarita before finding their seats for dinner.
Inside the hangar, tables were decorated in pink fabrics to match the vibrant flowers on the center of each table. A floral install hung in the center of the room and the ceremony arbor was brought inside and placed behind the sweetheart table. Everyone grabbed their plate and enjoyed assorted Mini Palm Sandwiches, Deviled Eggs, Red New Potato with gorgonzola and bacon, Teriyaki Chicken Drummettes, and Swedish Meatballs selected by our Event Specialist, Brittany, and the bride and groom during their wedding planning process. Helicopter touchdown drew attention as the newlyweds landed and made their grand entrance into their first dance as husband and wife. Toasts followed and many laughs and tears were shared before everyone hit the dance floor for the bouquet and garter toss. Afterwards, the a white cake with raspberry creme filling and classic buttercream icing was cut and shared with guests. On a sugar high, the evening ended in lively dance-offs and good times.
