Peach, Rust, and Pink Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Sidney met Nick on the side patio for their first look at Hangar 21 South. With a tap of the shoulder, Nick turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and the couple was met with happy tears in their eyes. The two read personalized vows to one another, then joined their wedding party for pictures. The groomsmen were dressed in black, and the bridesmaids wore peach. Together, the group wandered around the venue chatting and smiling for the camera until it was time to line up for ceremony.

Guests arrived, signed Nick and Sidney’s guest book, then took a seat inside the hangar. The aisle was lined with fall flowers and two floral pillars stood tall as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone had arrived, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their family and friends, Sidney and Nick recited vows, exchanged rings, and shared a sweet kiss to conclude the ceremony.

Out on the tarmac, guests were greeted with tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes. A stationary Bao Bar with Roasted Pork Belly and Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken became a hot spot where guests could choose their filling and toppings. For refreshment, the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Blue Hawaiian and Old Fashioned. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds were off on their helicopter flight, touching down just in time for reception.

Back inside the hangar, tables were draped in white linen and topped with floral centerpieces and candles. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables just in time for the bride and groom’s grand entrance. Nick and Sidney performed a choreographed dance when they entered the reception as everyone cheered from the sidelines. Afterwards, the couple shared a more intimate first dance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear and Walnut Salad were served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our event specialist, Lauren. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended, then everyone was invited out onto the dance floor for a group photo. The photographer snapped a few shots, then it was time for dancing. The evening ended with dance battles, dance circles, and a few dances shared with the bride and groom.
