Peach and Pink Wedding at Serra Plaza

With makeup and hair complete, Jessica headed over to Mission San Juan Capistrano for her first look with Geno. A tap on the shoulder turned him around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless wedding gown. The couple read handwritten vows in an intimate setting, posed for photos around the Mission, then headed back to Serra Plaza for the ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Serra Plaza Courtyard, signed Geno and Jessica’s guest book, then took a seat. Peachy-pink floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and decorated the Spanish Fountain ahead. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Jessica arm in arm with her parents. Once joined with Geno, the two recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss in front of all their friends and family.

Tray passed Caprese Skewers and Meatballs greeted guests in the Lounge while the bar served up Lemon Drop and Classic Margarita signature drinks. The newlyweds mixed and mingled with all their guests posing for selfies to commemorate the special day. As the sun set, everyone checked the seating chart and headed back into the Courtyard for reception.

Sparkling chandeliers illuminated the outdoor space, and tables were decorated below with pink, peach, and white roses. Jessica and Geno made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared while Lemon and Thyme Glazed Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Roasted Italian Zucchini, Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, everyone headed back into the Lounge to watch the newlyweds cut into their chocolate cake with cream cheese filling and indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best moves out on the dance floor and sharing their well wishes with the bride and groom.
