Pastel Spring Wedding at Serra Plaza

Ivana and Tim met at Mission San Juan Capistrano for their first look while their wedding party waited nearby. A tap on the shoulder turned Tim around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless, lace detail wedding dress. Smiles immediately filled both their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged before the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen. The bridesmaids were dressed in different color pastel dresses and the groomsmen wore classic black suits. Together, the group smiled for the camera creating lasting memories for years to come.

At Serra Plaza, guests entered the Courtyard, signed Tim and Ivana’s guest book, snapped a selfie, and took their seats. The aisle was marked with light pink and white floral arrangements and matching flowers decorated the Spanish fountain backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Ivana. In front of all their closest friends and family, the couple read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

In the Lounge, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts made their rounds while the bar served up G&T and Hawaiian Mule signature drinks. Outside on the patio, our Street Taco Station was a hit with Al Pastor and Fajita Veggie Tacos. Guests mixed, mingled, and filled out a crossword puzzle the bride and groom created, then it was time to head to reception.

Back in the Courtyard, tables were topped with flickering candles and fresh floral centerpieces. Guests took their seats and watched as the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Chicken Santorini, Tri-Tip Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes was served while family and friends shared toasts. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut into their lemon wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. The evening ended with a late night burger snack and lots of dancing.
