Pastel Florals and an Earth Blending Ceremony
Inside the bridal suite at The Estate on Second, Jackie and her bridesmaids touched up their makeup and got ready for the big day. Bubbly was served and the girls posed for photos before heading outside for Jackie and Rafa’s first touch. Once downstairs, Rafa and his groomsmen headed up to change into their suits. Once ready, everyone headed outside for a few more pictures before the ceremony and the bride and groom held hands around the corner of the venue while exchanging sweet words to ensure their first look was down the aisle.
Guests arrived, added soil to the couple’s earth blending ceremony plant, then found their seats inside the Crystal Ballroom. The aisle was lined with pastel flowers and two tall floral pillars marked the ceremony backdrop. As soon as everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. Huge smiles filled the faces of Jackie and Rafa when they shared their first look across the aisle. Together in front of all their friends and family, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, watered their earth blending plant, and sealed the ceremony with a celebratory kiss.
Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas, Crab Cakes, and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed around the speakeasy for cocktail hour and the bar was serving up Pineapple Margarita and John Collins signature drinks. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds wandered around the venue with their photographer for pictures together as husband and wife. They made their way back just as cocktail hour was ending, and everyone found their seats inside the Crystal Ballroom for reception.
Tables were topped with pops of pink and floral centerpieces. Jackie and Rafa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Southwest Chicken, Barbacoa Shredded Beef, Pasilla Rice, Elote Creamed Corn, and Mexican Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. Friends and family shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air. After dinner, the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with an assortment of French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off the best moves and sharing a dance with the bride and groom.
