Over the Moon Backyard Baby Shower

With a baby on the way, guests gathered to celebrate Karly and her little one. Tables were set with ivory linens, rattan chargers, gold flatware and drink stirrers, blue plates, and amber glassware to match the over the moon boho theme. Fresh flowers in blue, white, and brown were arranged in vases atop cheesecloth running the length of the tables and a balloon garland decorated Karly’s gift opening area. Bubbly was flowing at the mimosa bar as soon as guests started to arrive. Orange, peach, and grapefruit juice were used as mixers and drinks were topped with fresh berries and flowers. Friends and family shared sweet conversations with the mommy-to-be, then it was time for brunch. A buffet of Bacon, Chile Relleno, and Vegetarian Quiche were accompanied by an assortment of Mini Croissants, Sweet Potatoes, Chicken Apple Sausage, Blueberry French Toast Casserole, and Pear and Walnut Salad. Everyone filled their plate and took a seat back at the table. Stories and congratulations were shared, then it was time for Karly to open her shower gifts. Everyone gathered around and watched as the mommy-to-be unwrapped each present and thanked her guests. The afternoon ended on a sweet note as guests took home custom decorated cookies and loving memories excited for the baby to arrive.
