Outdoor Wedding at The Rose Center

The bridal party slipped into their suits and dresses off-site before heading over to the Rose Center for Amber and Lonnie’s special day. Each bridesmaid wore mauve pink attire and the groomsmen wore light beige tuxedos and matching ties. Amber stunned from head to toe in a lace and tulle wedding gown with matching lace veil while Lonnie wore a grey tux and beige tie to match his groomsmen. The fashionable bunch paraded around the inside and outside of the venue posing for photos while guests arrived and found their seat inside the courtyard just in time for the wedding ceremony.

The courtyard stage was surrounded by draped white fabric gently swaying in the breeze. A wooden arbor stood center stage decorated in white and pink flowers and eucalyptus. Everyone stood as Amber made her grand entrance through our Rose Center gates covered in floral garland. Happy tears were shed as she met Lonnie at the head of the aisle. The two exchanged vows and wedding bands before sealing the deal with a sweet kiss in front of friends and family.

After the ceremony concluded, guests leisurely snacked on Beef Picadillo Empanadas and Curry Apple Chicken Skewers during cocktail hour. The bar served up a selection of beer and wine and Moscow Mule and Rum and Coke signature cocktails while the courtyard was flipped for the dinner reception and friendly competitions of connect 4, cornhole and more were played. Not long after, everyone was asked to find their seat for the bride and groom’s grand entrance. Tables were draped in light grey linens and ivory napkins were knotted and framing dinner menus atop each plate. Floral centerpieces added a pop of color and pink candles provided romantic lighting throughout the evening. Amber and Lonnie entered into their first dance before taking their seats at the sweetheart table for dinner and toasts. A pre-selected menu of BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Mashed Potato Station, Parmesan Crusted Creamed Corn, Southern Chopped Salad and Cornbread Muffins with honey butter put together by our Event Specialist, Casey, and the bride and groom, was served to hungry guests. Tears, love, and laughter were shared as friends and family made their toasts. After dinner, a 2-tier marble cake with raspberry creme filling and French buttercream icing was cut by Amber and Lonnie and shared with guests. The garter and bouquet were tossed and caught by hopeful romantics and fun games were played by the bride and groom before their joyous send off later that evening.
