Outdoor Reception at Forme Los Angeles

After tying the knot at their local church, Mariez and Jordan headed to Forme for their outdoor wedding reception. Guests arrived through the wooden planked doors and into the courtyard where tables draped in ivory linen were set up. Gold rimmed plates topped with turquoise napkins and gold flatware completed each table while tall arrangements of hydrangeas and roses were placed as centerpieces. String lights and ivory fabrics were draped around the reception space creating a magical atmosphere and a white chandelier hung directly in the center. The sweetheart table was framed in a golden, geometric arch decorated in flowers and two hedges with the couple’s last name in neon lights acted as a backdrop. In front of the sweetheart table, a white dance floor with the newlyweds initials was placed and music filled the air.

Cocktail hour Caprese Skewers and Thai Shrimp Spring Rolls were enjoyed and the bar was pouring an assortment of beer, wine, and cocktail beverages. Mariez and Jordan snuck away for a moment to take pictures in the open-air loft just as the sun was setting. Mariez was dressed in a stunning lace wedding gown and Jordan sported a very fashionable tux in a paisley pattern. Meanwhile, everyone enjoyed their time mixing and mingling before taking a seat for dinner. The bride and groom made their grand entrance down the open-air loft stairs and into the courtyard and shared their first dance in front of family and friends. The newlyweds then took their seats at their sweetheart table and listened to toasts made by their closest loved ones. Our Dual Plated Chambre dinner was served next. Summer Spinach and Berry Salad, Chicken Sonoma, Mesquite Smoked Salmon, Roasted Fingerling Potato Salad, Grilled Broccolini, and Fresh Baked Rosemary Focaccia were on the menu that was selected by the bride and groom with the help and recommendations of our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel. Guests gave rave reviews of their meals, then indulged in a dessert bar before hitting the dance floor. The remainder of the evening was spent showing off moves on the dance floor and sending the newlyweds off in an uproar of cheers.
