Neutral Winter Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Champagne popped open inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno while Alyssa and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day. After hair and makeup, Alyssa slipped into her wedding dress and stepped out for a first look with her bridal party. Cheers, tears, and sweet compliments were shared. Together, the bride and bridesmaids posed for pictures inside the suite and outside in the courtyard while Matthew and his groomsmen finished suiting up. The bridesmaids were dressed in mauve and black, and the groomsmen wore black and white. Once group photos were complete, everyone lined up for ceremony.

Guests signed Matthew and Alyssa’s guest book and took a seat in the Olive Grove. Two tall floral pillars marked the ceremony space and matching arrangements decorated the back of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alyssa. Happy tears were shed when Matthew saw his bride for the first time that day down the aisle. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss as everyone cheered.

For cocktail hour, tray passed Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls made their rounds while Wood-Fired Classic BBQ Chicken Pizza and Mediterranean Vegetable Pizza were cooked, sliced, and served. Guests mixed and mingled while sipping on the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Rosemary Skinny Margarita and Old Fashioned. Upon the bride and groom’s return from romantics, everyone was invited inside for reception.

Tables were draped in velvet and topped with ikebana and candlestick centerpieces. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned seats. Matthew and Alyssa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table just in time for dinner. Filet Mignon Carvery, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our event specialist, Lauren. While everyone ate, friends and family shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech ended, then the newlyweds invited everyone to enjoy a slice of red velvet cake and donuts. Energized from dessert, everyone hit the dance floor. The evening ended with the bride and groom showing off their best dance moves surrounded by loved ones.
