Moody Blooms and Black Details at The Estate on Second
Jessica and her bridal party posed for photos upstairs while Chris and his groomsmen finished suiting up downstairs at The Estate on Second. Jessica was dressed in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress and the bridal party contrasted her in black. Making sure to stay apart so their first look would be down the aisle, the two groups wandered around inside and outside of the venue with their photographer smiling for pictures. Afterwards, it was time to line up for ceremony.
Guests entered the Crystal Ballroom and found a seat. A large crescent moon stood tall decorated with white and red roses and candles as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances. Once Chris and Jessica locked eyes, the couple had huge smiles on their faces. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, the two read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms and Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around cocktail hour while bartenders mixed up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Whiskey Sour. While guests mixed and mingled, Chris and Jessica signed their marriage license and wandered off with their photographer for romantics just as the sun was setting. Upon their return, it was time for dinner.
A romantic color palette of black and red covered the Crystal Ballroom. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned tables. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. Dinner was served. The menu was comprised of Chicken Pignoli, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, and Italian Chopped Salad. Our Event Specialist, Casey, helped Jessica and Chris select their wedding menu. Family and friends stood and shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air once the speeches ended. Next, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our French Dessert Collection with an assortment of Lavender Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Lemon Curd Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts and a donut display. Energized from sugary sweets, everyone hit the dance floor. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best dance moves and sneaking in a dance with the bride and groom before wishing them well and heading home.
