Modern Whimsical Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Christine met Sydney outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look and private vow exchange. A tap on the shoulder turned Sydney around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and happy tears fell from their eyes as they shared a warm embrace for the first time that day. The couple took turns reading their handwritten vows, then joined their wedding party for photos and to line up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. White flower petals lined the aisle, and on the stage, modern black pillars decorated with white and pink flowers stood tall. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Christine. Together in front of all their family and friends, Christine and Sydney recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Sticky Pork Belly Bites and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed on the tarmac as guests lined up for the Bao Station serving Thai 3 Flavored Chicken Bao, and the bar pouring beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Cadillac. Everyone mixed and mingled while Sydney and Christine enjoyed their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for the reception.

Flowers and lights hung from the ceiling above tables topped with fresh floral centerpieces, candles, and blush napkins. Sydney and Christine made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Filet Mignon Carvery, Jasmine Rice, Macaroni & Cheese, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. As the celebration continued into the evening, friends posed in the photo booth and shared dances out on the dance floor. A late-night snack of Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites and Mini Meat Lovers Pizzas surprised and satisfied guests before the last dance. Everyone shared their well wishes with Christine and Sydney, then headed home.
