Modern Mauve Meets Floral Wedding at The Casino San Clemente
Adam and Lauren met in the Rock Garden at the Casino San Clemente for their first look. A tap of the shoulder turned the groom around and a smile immediately filled his face when he saw his bride for the first time that day. The couple shared sweet compliments, then were joined by their wedding party for pictures. The bridesmaids wore different fall-colored dresses, and the groomsmen wore black. After smiling for the camera, and just before guests began arriving, the group lined up for ceremony.
Live music ushered guests to their seats and an artist began painting the ceremony scene. Flowers decorated the top of the mantle and rattan chairs were set up inn rows. As soon as everyone was in attendance, Adam made his walk down the aisle followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Lauren. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests made their way out to the Patio of the Stars where tray passed Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls greeted them, and the newlyweds headed to the front of the venue for romantics. Wooden cocktail tables topped with floral bud vases were scattered around and a mauve and white lounge provided a comfortable place for guests to sit back and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres. After much mixing and mingling, everyone checked the vinyl music inspired seating chart and headed inside for dinner.
The ceiling beams were covered in greenery and flowers that matched the centerpieces on top of each reception table. Taupe and pink colored glassware complemented stone charger plates and ornate dinner plates, and matching blush napkins and modern black and gold flatware completed each place setting. Lauren and Adam made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table just in time for dinner. Chicken Pignoli, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Friends and family shared toasts while everyone finished dinner, then the newlyweds invited everyone to indulge in our Fresh Baked Cookies and Ice Cream Station. The evening ended out on the dance floor with everyone showing off their best moves and sharing a dance with the bride and groom.
