Modern Hangar 21 South Wedding
Hayley slipped into her jeweled heels inside Hangar 21 South while her bridal party waited for her big reveal out on the tarmac. Dressed in a lace wedding gown, and with her train trailing behind her, Hayley approached her bridesmaids and bridesman who were covering their eyes as to not spoil the surprise. On the count of three, everyone unveiled their eyes and gasped at the brides beauty. Huge smiles and hugs were shared all around, then it was time for Hayley’s first look with Daniel who was patiently waiting in front of the hangar doors. Approaching Daniel from behind, the two could feel the anticipation building with every step Hayley took. With a tap of the shoulder, Daniel turned around. Daniel showered his bride with sweet compliments as soon as he laid eyes on her and the two hugged and kissed each other. With the first of many memorable moments complete, the wedding party lined up for the ceremony as guests began arriving.
A floral and fabric draped arbor stood center stage as guests entered the ceremony space. Candles and fresh flower arrangements marked the beginning of the aisle matching the backdrop ahead. Once the sea of ghost chairs were occupied, the ceremony began with live music. Everyone stood as Hayley made her entrance and walked to her groom. Once the bride and groom were standing together on stage, everyone was seated and their love story was shared. Handwritten vows were read by Daniel and Hayley that received oohs and aahs from the crowd, then they exchanged their rings and sealed the deal with a kiss as their officiant pronounced them as husband and wife. Followed by their wedding party and guests, the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour on the tarmac.
Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls greeted hungry guests as they entered the tarmac. The bride and groom’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Pink Champagne Margarita, were being served at the bar along with beer and wine while everyone mixed and mingled. Cocktail tables and a black and white lounge with modern details provided areas to relax while the bride and groom snuck away for golden hour photos.
Upon the newlyweds return, guests were crowded around the dance floor cheering the couple on as they made their grand entrance into their first dance. Just as their dance concluded, the hangar doors opened revealing the reception space inside. Everyone found their assigned table and took a seat. Flowers covered the sweetheart table and crystal chandeliers hung above. Additional floral arrangements topped the reception tables and black accents tied together the modern theme. Hayley had a quick outfit change, then it was on to toasts. Family and friends grabbed the mic and shared stories about the bride and groom that had the room in tears from laughter. Everyone clinked glasses and sipped champagne, then dinner was served. Tequila Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad was selected by Hayley and Daniel with help from our Event Specialist, Casey. Guests filled and finished their plates, and some even went back for seconds. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their 2-tiered wedding cake and invited their guests to enjoy our Classic Dessert Station with Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts. Energized from dinner and dessert, the newlyweds and their wedding guests ended the evening out on the dance floor.
