Modern, Geometric Wedding at The Rose Center

After their first look at a nearby park, Jennifer and Penang headed to the Rose Center for their wedding ceremony. The courtyard was decorated in rust, pink, and white flowers and an angular ceremony backdrop painted in ombre colors stood center stage. Penang matched the decor in a rust colored suit and his groomsmen contrasted in navy. Each bridesmaid wore a light pink dress and Jennifer wore a detailed lace gown. The group posed for pictures then headed inside to line up as guests arrived.

A welcome table greeted guests inside the courtyard of the Rose Center inviting everyone to sign their well wishes before taking a seat. Almost every ghost chair was filled when Penang made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party ending with Jennifer and her parents arm-in-arm. The bride and groom read handwritten vows making each other laugh and cry and then exchanged rings. A newlywed kiss was shared and the crowd cheered as the couple exited their ceremony.

Cocktail hour remained in the courtyard for beautiful golden hour views. Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Sesame Shrimp & Mango Spring Rolls were tray passed and the bar was pouring beer, wine, and the bride and groom’s signature cocktails; an Irish Mule and Brazil Spice. After posing with family, the newlyweds joined cocktail hour just as it was ending. A seating chart with floral garnish led guests inside for the reception.

Tables were draped in ivory linen and light pink, peach and white floral centerpieces matched the taupe plates and blush napkins at each place setting. The sweetheart table was draped in a patterned linen and the ceremony backdrop was repurposed here with the couple’s last name in neon lights hanging from the structure. An overflow of flowers bordered and decorated the table ensuring it was the center of attention. Jennifer and Penang made a sparkler grand entrance and shared their first dance in front of friends and family before taking their seats at the sweetheart table. Loving toasts were made, then dinner was served. The wedding menu had delicious offerings including Pear & Walnut Salad, Chicken Sonoma, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Vegetable Medley. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey, during the planning process to ensure all guests left satisfied. The meal did not disappoint. Rave reviews could be heard around each table and some guests even got up for seconds. Next, the newlyweds cut their 3-tier marble wedding cake and served it to guests that were craving a little something sweet. Energized from a good meal, everyone hit the dance floor to show off their best moves. The bride and groom took center stage the entire evening and when it was time for goodbyes, they left in an uproar of cheers.
