Modern Black Tie Wedding at Forme Los Angeles

Mike and his groomsmen just finished suiting up in the Sidecar Suite at Forme and headed out for group photos while Mia and her bridesmaids added the finishing touches to their looks upstairs in the Sunburst Suite. The guys were dressed in classic black suits with white button ups and the only thing that differentiated the groomsmen from the groom was their bowties - the groom wearing white and groomsmen, black. The guys stuck a pose, then were taken elsewhere so Mike wouldn’t see his bride. The girls came out of the Sunburst Suite dressed to impress in black, one shoulder dresses and slicked back hairstyles. Mia took a softer approach to contrast her bridesmaids in a beautiful lace gown and flowing veil with floral details. Each of the girls held a bouquet filled with greenery and white, tan, and light pink flowers to match the decorations inside Forme. After a few photos were snapped, the group lined up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived through Forme’s wooden doors and into the courtyard where a welcome table with open guestbook encouraged guests to write their well wishes. A jazz band serenaded guests as they went from the welcome table to large sliding glass doors where the ceremony was about to take place inside. Everyone found a seat on either side of the black and white aisle facing our geometric wall where a big “M” backdrop (for their last name) stood tall decorated with flowers. The wedding party made their entrances ending with Mia who met Mike in the center of the stage surrounded by family and friends. The two read personal vows to one another, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss as they sealed the deal. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds made their exit out of the ceremony and into cocktail hour.

Live jazz music picked up right where they left off while guests enjoyed sipping on wine and beer. Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, Sticky Pork Belly Bites, and a European & Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray were readily available to snack on while everyone mingled as the sun went down. Meanwhile, Mia and Mike paraded around the outside of the venue in all their newlywed bliss posing for pictures and chatting with their friends and family. Before long, everyone was invited to join the couple inside for dinner.

An acrylic seating chart lead guests to their assigned tables inside where floral arrangements of all heights decorated the space. Tables were draped in black linen and menus were placed atop each plate. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their entrance and danced in front of sparklers for a truly unforgettable moment. Toasts were made and dinner was served. A menu of Santorini Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Potatoes, Pear & Walnut Salad, and Grilled Marinated Vegetables was chosen by the bride and groom during their planning process with our Venue and Catering Manager, Rachel. After dinner, the bride and groom cut their 3-tier marble wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and served it to guests that were craving a little something sweet. A quick dress change for Mia marked the beginning of the dance party. Everyone made their way to the dance floor to show off their best moves and rally around the newlyweds. The evening ended with yet another sparkler moment and the bride and groom were sent off in an uproar of applause.
