Modern Black and White Disco Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Taylor and Marcus met outside of Hangar 21 South for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding. Smiles immediately filled their faces as they laid eyes on each other and sweet compliments were shared. After posing together for photos, the bride and groom dressed in white joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in black for group pictures, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests were greeted on the side patio with a glass of champagne as they took their seats. White chairs were lined up in rows on both sides of the black aisle, and on the stage, a large white arbor stood tall decorated in greenery and white roses. Once everyone was seated, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Taylor. In front of all their closest friends and family, Taylor and Marcus recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Guests filed into the hangar where greenery and disco balls hung overhead a checkered dance floor and modern black and white lounges sat on the sidelines. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Shrimp Ceviche were tray passed while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Skinny Margarita and Shirley Temple. Guests mixed and mingled, and the bride and groom flew in the Hangar 21 heli over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for reception.

Tables topped with white flowers and candles were set on the tarmac with string lights draped above. Taylor and Marcus made their grand entrance and took their seats at the head table with their wedding party for toasts. Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served first followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Mahi Mahi with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After toasts, the newlyweds hit the dance floor for their first dance and invited everyone to join in at the end. The celebration continued into the night with a cigar bar on the deck, plenty of selfies taken with the bride and groom, a dessert bar, and lots of dancing.
