Micro Wedding Minimony at The Estate on Second

The glowing bride, Alina, and her charming groom, Robert, are the perfect example of how to make lemonade out of lemons. That’s how the saying goes right? Due to the coronavirus, Alina and Robert had to drastically change their wedding plans, but luckily Alina herself is an event planner, so she took the reins and ran with a COVID safe micro wedding plan. Bridesmaids, groomsmen, and immediate family would be the only ones allowed into The Estate on Second for Alina and Robert’s minimony, a term that became popular this year due to the influx of small (mini) wedding ceremonies popping up because of the virus. Alina donned a stunning allover lace wedding dress, floor length veil and a waved hairstyle that looked like something out of an old Hollywood movie with pearl clip to keep one side out of her face. She held a bouquet of the lightest pink roses and rust colored foliage making it perfect for fall. Robert wore a navy suit with brown oxfords and matched his groomsmen. The two shared a sweet first look in the Attic before heading downstairs to the Crystal Ballroom where their family awaited them. A simple garland of greenery framed the center Palladian window and the bride and groom as they exchanged their vows. The bridesmaids in champagne colored dresses held back tears throughout the ceremony while the groomsmen smiled at the bride and groom in approval. Alina and Robert exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife as their tiny but mighty support group cheered. The loving wedding party left all together after the ceremony to continue the celebration with boxed meals from our Boxed Chambre Menu. Sometime after the wedding, when it is safe, the bride and groom will gather with ALL of their friends and family and celebrate their marriage.
