Love Runs Red at The Casino San Clemente
The bride, Stephanie, and groom, John, got ready separately off-site, then arrived at The Casino San Clemente for their intimate wedding celebration. Stephanie wowed in a dramatic a-line wedding gown complete with lace detailing and matching veil while John suited up in a timeless and classic grey tux. The two opted for a first touch instead of first look and met in the Rock Garden for a sweet hug and exchange of loving words before they’d see each other for the first time that day down the aisle.
Guests entered the Rock Garden and found their seat. Deep red and fresh white floral arrangements marked each side of the aisle and more flowers decorated the top of the outdoor mantle where the bride and groom would exchange vows. John was first down the aisle followed by a brief pause, then everyone stood for Stephanie. Happy tears filled John and Stephanie’s eyes when they saw each other. Together they read handwritten and personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss in front of family and friends before heading into cocktail hour.
Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, Thai Chicken Spring Rolls, and Braised Pork Belly Steamed Buns were snacked on while the bride and groom were off taking sunset photos before dinner. Guests were able to mix and mingle outside on the Patio of the Stars, then take a seat at their assigned table. Each table was draped in light grey linen and topped with floral centerpieces adding a pop of color to the reception space. When the bride and groom returned, dinner was served from a menu pre-selected by our Event Specialist, Brittany, and the couple. Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs, Honey & Ginger Salmon Filet, Teriyaki Vegetable Brochettes, Vegetable Fried Rice, Far East Wok Long Beans, and Chow Mein filled everyone up while toasts took place. Afterwards, Stephanie and John’s red velvet wedding cake was cut and guests enjoyed donuts and coffee for dessert ending the evening on a sweet note.
