Jackie + Zach, The Casino

Travel enthusiasts Jackie and Zach Hallstrom tied the knot on June 4, 2016 at The Casino in San Clemente, California! All in the Detail Design coordinated a beautiful wanderlust wedding theme full of maps, globes, travel and adventure. Being next to the beach, these adventurers had a light and airy atmosphere complemented by the groomsmen and bridesmaids wearing grey and turquoise. Studio C Florals prepared lovely and light blushing flowers to complete this perfect celebration.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to cocktail hour where we catered small bites and signature drinks like Moscow Mules and Margaritas. For the hor d'oeuvres, we served mini Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons with Bearnaise Sauce, Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, and Brie with crackers and crostinis.

After cocktails and the couple’s first dance, guests were shown to their seats by these adorable postcard place cards. The couple chose our popular Chicken Veronique to serve during their feast. It’s a lightly sauteed chicken breast served in a creamy champagne sauce with red and green grapes. To accompany the entree we prepared Au Gratin Potatoes, a Vegetable Medley, Penne a la Checca, Rice and a Mixed Green salad served with freshly baked rolls.

Jay’s also baked up a beautiful wedding cake made of two cake layers— red velvet with cream cheese filling and chocolate with vanilla bavarian filling and covered in a heavenly french buttercream icing. The newly weds also chose to have a cupcake station for their guests to enjoy, which included chocolate, carrot, red velvet and white raspberry cupcakes.

After dinner, guests got to get their photo booth picture souvenir, provided by SoCal Shutterbooth, and dance the night away to California DJ’s fantastic musical entertainment. At the end of the night, family and friends wished Jackie and Zach bon voyage onto their new expedition in life together.
