Heart Eyes for This Hangar 21 South Wedding

Raz slipped into her tulle wedding gown in the bridal suite at Hangar 21 South, then headed to the side patio for her first look with her groom. With veil trailing behind her and pink bouquet in tow, Raz tapped Jack’s shoulder. The bride and groom came face to face for the first time that day and shared sweet compliments before their bridal party joined in on the fun. The groomsmen wore black suits with dark green ties and the bridesmaids were dressed in emerald green and black to match. Together, the group posed for fun, celebratory pictures before lining up for ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio and took a seat facing the stage where two floral arrangements marked where the bride and groom would soon be standing. Once everyone had arrived, Jack led the processional. Raz was last to walk out, and emotions were high as she wiped a tear from her cheek while grinning from ear to ear. In front of all their closest family and friends, Raz and Jack recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour.

Raspberry Mojitos and Jack and Gingers were being served at the bar while Crab Cakes and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed. As a special treat for their guests, the bride and groom added a Street Taco Station with Pollo Asado and Al Pastor Tacos for cocktail hour, and everyone loved it. Jack and Raz made their rounds thanking guests for coming and posing for the occasional selfie, then headed to the tarmac for their helicopter flight. Just as the sun was setting and a sliver of golden hour was left, guests could see the bride and groom lift off for their flight. While the newlyweds were up in the air, cocktail hour came to an end and guests found their seats inside the hangar for reception.

Pink floral centerpieces and dark green knotted napkins decorated the top of each table adding pops of color to the reception space. A floral installation hung perfectly over the sweetheart table and candles were lit creating a romantic atmosphere as guests took their seats. Soon after, the DJ began announcing the names of bridesmaids and groomsmen as they made their grand entrances. Once the last name was called, Raz and Jack touched down in the helicopter and excitedly made their way from the tarmac into the hangar for their entrance as husband and wife. The couple shared a first dance, then took a seat at their head table. Toasts were made while dinner was served. First, Caesar Salad, then Chicken Santorini, Angus Flat Iron Steak, and Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Fingerling Potatoes, Penne Alla Checca, and Roasted Broccolini. The menu was selected by Raz and Jack during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Brittany. Once toasts and dinner ended, the bride and groom cut into their red velvet wedding cake and invited guests to enjoy a little something sweet for dessert. After indulging in dessert, the dance floor became the new hot spot. Friends and family shared dances with the bride and groom and many fun memories were made. Jack and Raz knew their wedding guests would work up an appetite for late night snacks, so as another surprise, Mini Corn Dogs and Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites made an appearance to continue fueling all the fun. After dancing the night away, groups posed around the lounge and in the photo bus with the newlyweds before wishing them well and heading home as the wedding came to an end.
