Grey and White Wedding at the Lombardi House

Krystal in her lace wedding gown and Taylor in his light grey suit stepped outside for their first look as family and friends sneakily watched from inside the Lombardi House. With a tap of the shoulder, Taylor turned around to see his stunning bride before him as he tried his hardest to hold back tears. The two shared a loving hug and were then joined by their wedding party for group photos. The groomsmen wore charcoal suits and the bridesmaids dressed in light grey for a classic color palette. Krystal held a bouquet of white roses and her bridesmaids held a mixture of pampas and other white flowers that matched the groomsmen’s boutonnieres. Laughs were shared as they wandered around the venue before heading over to a nearby church for the ceremony.

Friends and family watched on while Krystal and Taylor recited vows in a traditional ceremony. The two exchanged rings and shared a kiss after being pronounced husband and wife, then exited back down the aisle with everyone cheering them on. Guests joined the newlyweds for a moment of mingling before leaving the church and heading to the Lombardi House for cocktail hour and reception.

Guests were greeted with Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls while the bar poured drinks. Krystal and Taylor’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule and Cosmopolitan, were popular picks. Everyone enjoyed the light bites while waiting for the bride and groom’s arrival. Not long after waiting, guests lined the inside of the Lombardi House for Taylor and Krystal’s first dance. The bride and groom made their grand entrance with the help of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, then danced to their song together.

Outside, tables were covered with green and white floral arrangements and market lights hung above. Everyone stopped by the seating chart before taking a seat at their table. Friends and family of the newlyweds raised a glass and toasted the couple while sharing fun loving memories, then dinner was served. First, a course of Pear & Walnut Salad was enjoyed as toasts concluded. Next, an entree course of Classic Filet of Beef, Zucchini Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Baby Vegetables. The meal was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. Every table shared compliments on the food and finished their plates. After dinner, all the single ladies and men got up for the garter and bouquet toss, then everyone hit the dance floor. Taylor and Krystal snuck away for their private cake cutting and the Gourmet Dessert Station opened for those craving a little something sweet. A collection of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots where thoroughly enjoyed, then guests lined up outside for the send off. The bride and groom excitedly exited the venue through their cheering guests in a sparkler send off to end the night.
